HOKA Speedgoat 5 - This Editor's Favorite Trail Shoe Today

I've run in Speedgoats for a while now, including the training for and completion of a 50 mile ultra last season, and they're quite simply my favorite all around trail running shoe. With the huge amount of cushion I can run for hours and still not feel it in my knees or joints. The traction on the Speedgoat 5 is surprisingly good, and for all the cushion they're bringing they really don't feel that heavy.
